it is easy to think that in the stresses or our everyday lives that there are people who do not care about the simple things in life we take for granted. I know sometimes i think this way, however this weekend restored my belief that people do care and know that they can leave a mark on this world no matter how big or small. many people say that the message of live 8 may have been lost, but listening to friends of mind that did attend the consert it was obvious that the message did not just stop at the entrence of the gates. Seeing the world being brought together through an art form such as music is a beauitful thing. i will admit that star power was the reasoning behind the large numbers, however seeing star power used in that way , is the way i think it should be used. if used at all. But let us not forget that after a weekend of excitment fun and games there are still families going to bed hungry, and people dieing of aids everyday, so the awareness should not just stop after july second, but start there and continue until we've done what we've needed to do as a world. but i think it's a pretty good start :)
